The program concerned a high-tech military helicopter, code named Airwolf, and her crew as they undertook various missions, many involving espionage, with a Cold War theme. The flying Airwolf helicopter was actually a Bell 222, serial number 47085, sometimes unofficially called a Bell 222A. During filming of the series, the helicopter was owned by Jetcopters, Inc. of Van Nuys, California. This model accurately depicts the helicopter used on the show, it is made with 3D Studio Max 2011 and is animated with rigged parts which are controlled with sliders. The following parts are rigged on this model: landing gear, side gunpods, guns extending and underbelly rockets. Only the 3DS Max files have the custom attribute animations and full textures. All other 3D formats files have been included for compatibility. Made with 3DS Max 2011 and the Mental Ray renderer for full compatibility. No third party plugins or renderers are needed.
