Designed as a lightweight day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. The implementation of the MSIP Stage II changes in the F-16 production line, resulted in the second generation of F-16 aircraft. Starting with Block 25, the F-16C featured several improvements. The model is a F-16C Block 25, in the colors of 111 FS "Ace in a Hole" deployed in Balad AB during Operation Iraqi Freedom, with a full payload of fuel tanks, air to air (AIM-9 and AIM-120) and air to ground weapons (LANTIRN and AN/ALQ pods, JDAM bombs).
